Commission on College Teaching

CCT is proud to present OIT's 4th annual Showcase on Teaching, Tuesday Sept 18th, 2007.  See detailed schedule in the link at left, and take special note of the Rubric Development Workshops (advance registration requested)

 

The Commission on College Teaching (CCT) is charged with promoting teaching and learning, which in most comprehensive sense includes any projects, studies or activities which promote the learning climate, foster a spirit of critical inquiry in student and faculty alike, stimulate the intellectual life at OIT, or support the integration of the arts and sciences with the technologies at OIT.

The members of CCT are Robyn Cole, Charlie Jones, Gary Naseth, Kelly Peterson, Kathy Sale, Marc Timmerman, Robyn Wilde (chair), Dave Woodall and Linda Young. 

The two student positions on CCT are currently unfilled.

 

Innovative Teaching Grants

CCT's Innovative Teaching Grants fall under three categories:

I  Innovative Teaching Methods
II  Workshops/Seminars
III Teaching Conferences

Friday, Jan 25, 2008 at 3pm (we will have another request for proposals in spring quarter).
