Mission Statement
The mission of Oregon Tech’s Office of Educational Partnerships and Outreach (EPO) is to support institutional and state goals by cultivating and maintaining partnerships with area high schools and connecting faculties, community colleges, and universities to provide increased educational opportunities and resources for students.
EPO Goals
- Increase visibility, opportunity, and participation in Oregon Tech’s Dual Credit and High School Transition programs throughout Oregon.
- Provide articulation and dual enrollment agreements that align with Oregon Tech’s academic programs and regional missions.
- Provide hands-on learning experiences for youth in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs.
EPO Programs
Air University Associate Baccalaureate Cooperative
Associate to Bachelor degree partnership between KCC and Oregon Tech.
Accelerated degree pathway available to business club students enrolled in dual credit courses at Oregon Tech.
Earn college credits while taking courses at qualified high schools.
Take community college classes while earning a degree from Oregon Tech.
Take college courses on the Klamath Falls or Portland-Metro campuses while still in high school.
Opportunity for students with STEM credits, who meet the scholarship criteria.
Partnership with Mazama High School for students interested in STEM careers.
Partnerships with several Northern California community colleges allowing qualified students to pay in-state tuition.
Outreach programs designed to encourage exploration in STEM fields.
