Why did you choose Oregon Tech?

I chose Oregon Tech because of the small class sizes, hands-on opportunities, cost to attend, high employment rate after graduation, and friendly people.

What do you like best about your major?

What I like best about my major are the professors and wide range of careers that I could get into after graduation.  The professors are extremely helpful and are willing to give the students every possible opportunity and skills to excel in the field.  We are also able to do an externship at a site of our choice, which is what I am looking forward to next year.

What clubs or activities are you involved with?

I play volleyball and work at Campus Dining.

What career do you hope to have after you graduate from Oregon Tech?

After I graduate from Oregon Tech I plan on going to graduate school where I’d like to get my degree in Elementary Education or School Counseling.

Do you have any advice for incoming students?

My advice for any incoming student is to build a support group.  Build strong relationships with people that are like-minded because they will be there for you when you need help with school and in your personal life.
