Why did you choose Oregon Tech?

I have three main reasons why I chose Oregon Tech. The first and most important reason was the tuition. I am able to afford such a great college and be practically debt free! The second reason was the high percentage of job placement after college. The last reason is because I am able to play the sport I love and I couldn't imagine not playing it after high school - soccer.

What do you like best about your major?

What I found out that I love most about my major is that the professors are very willing to help you when needed. I feel comfortable talking to my professors about anything! Most of all, having a great advisor is what I really like because he is able to help me forecast my future for the next 3 years - which scholarships to apply for and what internships to look for.

What clubs or activities are you involved with?

I am involved with the Oregon Tech Varsity Women's Soccer team. This has taught me organization and most of all dedication.

What career do you hope to have after you graduate from Oregon Tech?

Since I am just finishing up my freshman year and not having taken many civil or engineering classes, I am not sure what I want to pursue after I graduate from Oregon Tech.

Do you have any advice for incoming students?

My advice to incoming students would definitely be to not stress out. If you learn to manage your study time and your social time, college can become one of the best experiences of your life. Make the best out of everything!
