Why did you choose OIT?

The school is close to home, has great class sizes, and has a high placement rate for mechanical engineering students.

What do you like best about your major?

The things we learn are actually used by professionals in our field of study and we get to practice what we have learned in lab instead of just hearing about it.

What clubs or activities are you involved with?

American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Retro Gaming Club, and I’m a Resident Advisor.

What career do you hope to have after you graduate from OIT?

I would really like to work in either the hydrogen fuel cell or diesel technology field.

Do you have any advice for incoming students?

Have a lot of fun in your beginning years but take elective credits as soon as possible so you will have free time when you’re classes get more intense.
