The faculty of the Natural Sciences Department teach the Biology-Health Sciences and Environmental Sciences Programs, as well as "service" courses that are needed for many other degree programs at Oregon Tech.
I teach general chemistry and electrochemistry for engineering students, but I also advise students and teach in the Environmental Sciences program, and am faculty advisor for the Oregon Tech Astronomy Club! I'm also involved in research on chemistry education and development of new inquiry-based laboratory experiments.
I teach physics for students in a variety of majors, including engineers, biologists, and health science professionals. My interests include experimental materials physics and chemistry, in particular the development of new materials and technologies for solid state energy conversion applications.
Mr. Burda is now serving Oregon Tech as Provost, but he'll always be an Oregon Tech physics professor at heart.
I teach courses in Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Science to students in the Health Sciences and Environmental Sciences programs. I enjoy advising student research projects and teaching field-based courses-the Klamath Basin is a great natural laboratory!
I enjoy teaching medical microbiology and molecular biology as well as advising students in the premedical professions and health science majors. I'm involved with student visits and assessing the Biology-Health Sciences curriculum and program each term.
I teach physical geography and environmental sciences with emphases in geomorphology and aquatic ecosystems. I particularly enjoy teaching field-based courses and advising students on capstone research projects.
I have a unique joint position as assistant professor of Biological Resources at Oregon Tech and Science Coordinator at the Crater Lake National Park Science and Learning Center. At Oregon Tech, I teach courses in biology and wildlife ecology. I am especially interested in student projects in wildlife, habitat ecology, and issues related to wildlife management and conservation.
I teach Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biopsychology, Cell Biology and Introduction to Neuroscience. I advise students in the Biology-Health Sciences program.
I teach elementary chemistry, anatomy & physiology, and clinical laboratory science courses. I am the advising coordinator for the Biology and Health Sciences programs, and I advise students in the pre-Clinical Laboratory Science and Paramedic programs.
I teach Anatomy & Physiology, as well as courses in the Vascular Technology program.
I teach Anatomy & Physiology for students in the Biology and Health Sciences majors, as well as pathophysiology. Before I came to Oregon Tech I was a practicing veterinarian.
I teach Anatomy & Physiology as well as Medical Terminology, pathophysiology and immunology. I am faculty advisor to the Health Sciences Club
I teach introductory courses in biology and environmental science, as well as tai chi, relaxation and flexibility, and wilderness activity courses.
I am a member of the Geomatics department, but I also teach and advise students in the Environmental Sciences program.
I teach general chemistry for engineering and biology students. I am the faculty advisor to Oregon Tech's International Student Club.
I teach organic chemistry, as well as classes in nutrition and clinical pharmacology.
I teach physics in Wilsonville. My background is in applied physics, with past projects in biomedical engineering, semiconductors, optical fibers and more.
I teach elementary chemistry.
I teach physics to a wide range of students, including biology students.
