The U.S. Veterans Magazine announced its 2013 Best of the Best Lists with Oregon Tech counted among the Top Veteran-Friendly Schools.
KLAMATH FALLS, ORE. – The U.S. Veterans Magazine announced its 2013 Best of the Best Lists with Oregon Tech counted among the Top Veteran-Friendly Schools.
This recognition follows on the heels of Oregon Tech jumping more than 100 spots in Forbes’ magazine list of Top Colleges and AdvisorOne ranking Oregon Tech as one of the Top 25 Colleges for Best Return on Investment.
“Oregon Tech is a proud supporter of the U.S. military and we have a strong relationship with active-duty members and veterans who attend our university,” said Oregon Tech President, Chris Maples. “We have a strong, active Oregon Tech Veterans Association to make sure that they are well represented as they pursue their degrees with Oregon Institute of Technology.”
The lists were compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm’s agents and/or affiliates. This year, more than 250 companies and institutions participated. The annual review is an evaluation of the nation's employers, initiatives, government agencies and educational institutions.
