What is the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition?
Tuition and fees will vary based on the number of credits you take. For fall, winter, and spring terms the in-state tuition (based on 14 credits) is $5,618, whereas, the out-of-state tuition is $14,690. Note that the WUE (Western Undergraduate Exchange) program will annually save out-of-state residents from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming approximately $7,000-$9,000 on tuition fees. After you are accepted you will receive a WUE contract in the mail. Return this to the Admissions office within 30 days (for all terms, excluding summer term) or by May 1st for Fall term. (Students from some Northern California counties may be eligible to receive WUE under reciprocity agreement with the College of the Siskiyous, College of the Redwoods, and Shasta College.)

Are jobs available on the college campus?
Yes, many jobs are offered on campus, as well as work study positions. All current job listings can be viewed Here after you register. Contact Career Services at 541-885-1020 for more information on jobs.

Will the college take a credit card?
Yes. Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club cards are accepted.  VISA is not accepted because of the fees assessed to OIT by the credit card company.  Students can pay on-line.

What is the refund policy?
Students who withdraw and who comply with regulations governing academic withdrawals may be entitled to certain refunds of fees assessed, depending on the time of withdrawal. For example, during the first two weeks of class students are refunded 83 per cent of tuition and fees. After the third week 50 per cent is refunded, the fourth week you get 25% back, and after that no refund is available. Claims must be made in writing before the close of the term. An official notice of withdrawal must be completed with a clearance signature filed in the Registrars office.  The refund is calculated from the date of receipt of the application of refund or date of withdrawal, not the date the student stopped attending classes unless special circumstances apply. Payments made with a credit card, are refunded by Financial Aid to the credit card in the amount allotted. Payments made by check are refunded after the check has cleared the bank (two weeks).
