I’ve been working in the Admissions Office as an Office Specialist since October 2011, which means I mostly greet students and answer phones. I grew up in Klamath Falls, graduating from Mazama, and joined the United States Army in June of 2001 as an Intelligence Analyst. During my four years in the Army I was stationed in South Korea and went on a deployment to Iraq. Throughout my military career and my student career at the University of Oregon I’ve traveled to over 20 countries but have always loved Klamath Falls and am thrilled to be home.

What is Great About Oregon Tech
The small size! It’s very welcoming and feels very much like a family-everyone knows everyone else. The professors know students by name and are very involved in the student’s academic professional career, which greatly benefits the student and the school.
Favorite Place on Campus
The College Union. It’s the best place to relax and people watch, and the chairs are super comfortable. Conversely, it’s also bustling with students and staff and feels like the hub of Oregon Tech.
Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions
Making the college application and admissions process a little less stressful for prospective students is definitely the best part. Applying to college can be confusing and overwhelming and I love helping our prospective students with the process.
