Adams Earns 4th Cascade Conference Honor

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Coming off a third Cascade Conference Athlete of the Week award, which included NAIA National Athlete of the Week honors just last week, Oregon Tech’s Paul Adams was named the CCC’s Cross Country Men’s Athlete of the Week, his fourth of the season, the league office announced on Monday.

In a battle of nationally ranked men’s cross country teams, Oregon Tech eked out a 26-29 victory over Northwest Christian at Dorris Ranch Saturday morning. 

Adams led the 19th-ranked Hustlin’ Owls to the win with his fourth victory this season.  The Mazama High grad won the men’s 8,000-meter race in 25 minutes, 45.2 seconds.

Oregon Tech will be idle this weekend before traveling to the Biola Invitational at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, Calif. On Saturday, October 26th.
