Oregon Tech Inks Bend High Guard

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Head coach Dan Miles announced recently the first signing to the Hustlin’ Owls 2014-15 roster, as Connor Scott (Bend, Ore.) will join the men’s basketball squad next fall.

Scott, a 6-2 guard, averaged 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds at Bend High School last season, earning all-conference recognition for the Lava Bears as a junior under head coach Scott Baker.  Scott is currently in his senior season at BHS.

“Connor is an outstanding student-athlete who will play both ends of the court very well.”  Miles continued. “His Dad, Chris, is the only walk-on ever to start for us as a freshman.”

Connor is the son of Chris and Carrie Scott and plans on majoring in engineering at Oregon Tech beginning next fall.
