KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech head coach Matt Miles recently announced the signing of outfielder Tristan Shea (Helena, Mont.) for the 2015 season.

Shea, a three year starter in the outfield for the Helena Senators American Legion baseball program, earned CO-MVP honors as a junior, while leading the team in doubles and walks. Shea also earned First-Team All-State honors as a fullback this past fall for the Capital High Bruins, as well as his third-straight Academic All-State Award (3.8 GPA).

“Tristan is a top two-sport athlete and with his football and baseball background will bring toughness and athleticism to our program next year. He has the ability and work ethic to be a difference maker for us and we are excited about his signing,” stated Coach Miles. “He is a true student-athlete and will be a great addition to the Oregon Tech community.”

Tristan is the son of Ed and Donna Shea and plans on majoring in computer engineering beginning in the fall.
