Oregon Tech Falls 3-1 to Pacific Lutheran University

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Oregon Tech stranded nine runners, losing a close game to Pacific Lutheran, 3-1, in day 2 of the Concordia Tournament played today on the campus of Linfield College.

Oregon Tech fell to 4-8 on the season and will play two games on Sunday versus Willamette University at 11 a.m. and Linfield at 2 p.m. 

Oregon Tech got on the scoreboard in their first at bat with Dominic Morris reaching on an error and later reaching second on a stolen base.  With one out Ethan Schlecht doubled to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. 

PLU managed single runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings off Tech starter BJ Wilson, as the score would stand until the end of the nine inning game. 

Wilson tossed seven innings allowing six hits, three earned runs while striking out four.  Schlecht, Ryan Grant and Ben Krueger recorded two hits each with Schlecht’s double the only extra base hit for Tech.
