Swanson and Adams Lead Tech at EOU Team Challenge

HERMISTON, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s Joelle Swanson and Paul Adams each won events at the Eastern Oregon Team Challenge at Kennison Field Saturday afternoon.

Swanson finished first in the Javelin Throw with a best of 43.05 m 141.03 feet. Tech’s Shannelle Cayetano finished 2nd in the pole vault with a best of 3.35 m / 11 feet with Katie Ingram finishing in 4th place for the Owls in the pole vault.

Adams grabbed 1st place in the 5000 meter with a time of 15:11.30 crushing the field by 17 seconds.

The Women had 4 CCC Qualifiers, 3 top 10 all-time performances, and 1 event champion.
