Six Tech Women’s Basketball Players Received Diplomas Saturday

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – It was a big celebration for several student-athletes, and for Oregon Tech head coach Scott Meredith, as he saw six of his former basketball players receive diplomas at Saturday’s commencement held at John F. Moehl Stadium on the campus of Oregon Tech.

Among the 2014 graduating class were six women’s basketball players who combined for 4,413 points, 2,945 rebounds, 1,145 assists, 473 blocked shots and 469 steals. The six players combined to play in 620 career games, including 347 starts. Two landed on the Cascade Conference Academic Team on multiple occasions and one named a NAIA Scholar Athlete on two occasions.

Kiana Caban (2010-14, Brentwood, Calif.) – Communication Studies, Morgan Hofman (2008-2012, Bend, Ore.) – Radiologic Science, head coach Scott Meredith, Karissa Dixon (2010-14, Medford, Ore.) - Applied Psychology and Kassi Conditt (2010-14, La Pine, Ore.) – Communication Studies, all played four seasons for the Hustlin’ Owls.
