Lady Owls Fall to Raiders in Ashland
ASHLAND, Ore. - The Lady Owls of Oregon Tech headed over the hill to take on No. 4 ranked regional rivals SOU Raiders. The Raiders extended their undefeated CCC streak to 7-0 as they drop Oregon Tech, 73-57, on Thursday night at Ashland HS. 

The two teams would battle back and forth all first half, as the game saw nine lead changes in the first half. The Raiders would capitalize on a 4 to 14 point run to end the half, putting them in the lead with a score of 40-35. 

SOU made a pair of free throws with two seconds left in the third quarter to push their lead to 51-43 before the final quarter of play.

SOU held the Owls (12-5, 5-2) to 34-percent shooting and forced 19 turnovers. The Raiders shot 44 percent (25-of-57) and committed just eight turnovers, as the 4th-ranked Southern Oregon pulled away in the fourth quarter to win on the evening 73-57. 

Ashleigh Vandenbrink scored 15 points, while Morgan Roberts-Ili had 13 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds, to lead the Owls.

The Lady Owls will return home to Danny Miles Court on Saturday, January 7 at 6:30p against Walla Walla University.
