Oregon Tech Indoor Track & Field Season to Open in Reno

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A handful of the Oregon Tech men’s and women’s track & field
athletes will be competing in their first of three indoor meets this
Friday and Saturday in the Reno Pole Vault Summit held in Reno, Nev.
The indoor season will culminate in Geneva, Ohio at the NAIA Indoor
National Meet February, 28th – March, 2nd.
Oregon Tech’s outdoor track & field season begins with the Davis Stampede ½ marathon in Davis, Calif. on February, 3rd, while the multi-event athletes will be looking forward to the Chico Multi Classic held February, 28th – March, 1st. The multi-events will be held on the campus of Chico State. Most tech athletes, however, will be gearing up for the Lane Opener held in Eugene on March, 8th and 9th.
Oregon Tech is set to host two meets this season at John F. Moehl Stadium on the Campus of Oregon Tech. The first home meet, the Border Battle, is scheduled for April 6th, as the Owls will host Southern Oregon University, along with California schools, Chico State and Humboldt State. The Oregon schools will team up against the Golden State schools in that meet to determine a winner of the duel. Meanwhile, on April 25th and 26th, Oregon Tech will host the Cascade Collegiate Conference multi championships with the CCC Championships to be held in Portland May, 10th and May, 11th.
