No. 3 Oregon Tech vs. No. 18 Eastern Oregon - NAIA Game of the Week

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - In a battle for first-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, No. 3 Oregon Tech (18-3, 7-2) hosts No. 18 Eastern Oregon (14-5, 7-2) tonight beginning at 7:30 pm in the NAIA Game of the Week.
With a log-jam of four teams tied at the top of the league standings, both teams kick-off the second-half of circuit play with a battle of heavyweights. Eastern Oregon beat Oregon Tech 73-66 back on Dec. 19. Since then, Oregon Tech has won seven straight by an average of 19.7 points. Oregon Tech also has a 30-game home winning streak on the line. Meanwhile, Eastern Oregon has won seven of its last eight games with the lone loss an 88-80 setback against No. 9 Warner Pacific (Ore.).
Tonight is the 156th meeting on the hardwoods between No. 18 Eastern Oregon and No. 3 Oregon Tech. The Hustlin’ Owls hold a 91-64 advantage. Under Danny Miles the record is 56-16 vs. the Mountaineers. The last win for Eastern Oregon in Klamath Falls was on February 16, 1979 by a score of 80-73.
