KANSAS CITY, Mo. –The Oregon Tech Hustlin’ Owls stayed put at the No. 3 spot with 405 points in the 2009-10 Division II Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top-25 Poll #6 announced today by the NAIA office. Oregon Tech and Walsh (Ohio) share the Division II active streak for longest run in the Top-25 at 58 straight weeks.
Defending national champion Oklahoma Wesleyan notched all first-place votes along with 436 points and holds down the No. 1 spot. The Eagles have sprinted out to a 20-0 record. Rounding out the top-5 is No. 2 Walsh (Ohio) with 422 points in the poll. In at No. 4 is Indiana University Southeast with Cascade Conference member Warner Pacific (Ore.) jumped to No. 5 up one spot from last week.
Evergreen State moves up from RV to No. 20 with Eastern Oregon making up the fourth Cascade Collegiate team to be ranked in the top-25, coming in at the No. 24 spot.
The Hustlin’ Owls have won nine straight and continue Cascade Collegiate Conference action by taking on Northwest Christian University this Friday night in Eugene, Oregon
