West Linn Standout to Join Oregon Tech Lady Owls

KLAMATH FALLS, OR – Oregon Tech Head women’s basketball coach Scott Meredith announced today that Karly LeVeque, a 5-6 guard from West Linn High School in West Linn, Oregon has signed a letter of intent to join the Lady Owls next season.

LeVeque is averaging 10 points, 3.5 assists and 3.8 steals in the very competitive 6A Three Rivers League in Portland and was a 1^st Team all-league selection for the Lions last season. She was also named to the TRL 1^st Team as an infielder during her first 3 seasons on the softball diamond.

“We are very excited to have Karly coming to Oregon Tech” said head coach Scott Meredith “She is a great athlete who will bring speed and quickness to our team. She is an aggressive defender who anticipates well and her ability to get steals is something we really need. She has had some big offensive games recently and is playing with a lot of confidence. She will be an exciting player to watch in the future.”

Karly LeVeque is the daughter of Jamie and Kelly LeVeque of West Linn, Oregon. She will be majoring in Dental Hygiene at Oregon Tech.
