Northwest Uses Late Game Rally To Take Down Oregon Tech

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –  Northwest University came back from a 14 point deficit with 11 minutes to play and stunned Oregon Tech 72-70 tonight in Cascade Conference women’s basketball action.

Oregon Tech, playing their last regular season home game of the season, fell to 21-7 overall and 10-6 in CCC play.  Northwest is 11-14 on the season and climbed to 7-10 in the conference standings.

Oregon Tech was led by Aundrea Albright with 19 points and nine boards, followed by Karissa Dixon with 17 points, four rebounds and three assists.  Jazzy McDaniel added eight points and Morgan Hofman seven rebounds and six assists.

Jessalyn Jackson recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards for NU.  Carol Howard led all scorers with 23 points, while Domi Mendezona added 20 and Emily Drivstuen 10 in the win for the Eagles.

Oregon Tech travels to Northwest Christian on Friday and Corban Saturday in the last of CCC regular season play.
