Oregon Tech Falls to No. 4 Point Loma

REDDING, Calif. – The Oregon Tech softball team went 1-2 on day 1 of the Simpson University softball tournament after falling to No. 4 ranked Point Loma Nazarene University this afternoon by a 4-0 final.

The Owls bats fell silent, managing just one hit in the game – A double by freshman shortstop Jess Plummer.

The Owls start the year 1-2 and will again meet Point Loma in the first game of tournament play Saturday morning beginning at 9 a.m.  The Owls close out play with an 11 a.m. game versus Menlo College and a 3 p.m. game versus host Simpson University to end weekend play.
