Oregon Tech’s Imhof Earns Cascade Conference Honors

PORTLAND, Ore. - Oregon Tech’s Jackie Imhof, a 6-0 senior from Portland, Ore., has been named the Red Lion Softball Pitcher of the Week, announced today by the conference office.

Oregon Tech opened the 2011 campaign at the Simpson University tournament, finishing Saturday’s tripleheader with a 1-2 mark.

Imhof gave up two earned runs in two appearances covering 12 innings in the circle; both came against No. 6 ranked Concordia University-Irvine in a 6-0 loss.

In the nightcap Imhof carried the Owls to their first win of the season over Cal Pac foe Menlo College with a 13-strikeout, no-hit performance in a 7-0 victory over the Oaks.

Imhof recorded 17 strikeouts, while giving up just six hits on the day.

Oregon Tech takes to the road for six games at the Northwest Cup hosted by Concordia University-Portland beginning this Friday.
