SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Oregon Tech fell to 2-6 overall after dropping a pair of games at Westmont College by a 9-2 final in the opener and 5-4 in the nightcap.
Oregon Tech trailed 5-0 before pushing across a run in the fourth inning to make it 5-1 in the opening game. Ryan Hayden singled with two outs and advanced to second after Brad Walters was hit by a pitch. Dylan Rogers walked to load the bases and Reynolds was hit by a pitch scoring Hayden.
Westmont then moved up 9-1 before the Owls tacked on a single run on two hits in the 8th inning. Locken reached on an error and moved to second on a balk, and to third on a ground out. Hayden then hit a deep fly ball that scored Locken and made the score 9-2. That would be all the runs Tech would get.

Oregon Tech led 3-2 after five innings in the nightcap, but could not overcome a three-run eighth inning from Westmont, as the Owls fell by a 5-4 final.
Kory Locken and Ryan Hayden finished with two hits each, with Zack Early adding a single and RBI. Dylan Rogers and Matt Miller drove in a run each for the Owls in the loss.
