Artie Sullivan Invitational Stolz, Czerny Qualified for Nationals
03.03.2007
ASHLAND, Oregon (March 3, 2007) The Artie Sullivan Invitational was a good first meet for Oregon Tech track and field. The weather for this meet was exceptional in comparison to the snow and cold weather we were experiencing in Klamath Falls. Most athletes posted exceptional marks, in some cases competing in events that they hadn't practiced before.
Kelsey Stolz and Megan Czerny are the first athletes to qualify for this year's National meet in Fresno, CA based on their exceptional performances at last year's Nationals. Kelsey reinforced this in Ashland by meeting the automatic qualifying distance in the javelin with a throw of 136' 9".
The Owls travel to Chico, CA on Saturday, March 10th to compete in the Wildcat Relays.
