Oregon Tech Takes Pair at Dominican U.

BRISBANE, Calif. - Oregon Tech plated 29 runs in today's doubleheader versus NCAA II Dominican University, while OIT pitching allowed just five hits and no runs on the evening, winning 12-0 and 17-0 over the Penguins today in non-conference softball action.
Oregon Tech moves to 12-5 on the season and will conclude a Bay Area road trip with two games on Friday against NCAA II Academy of Art.
Jackie Imhof moved to 5-2 after going six innings in the opening game, allowing just two hits. Andria Wheatley finished 3-for-4 in game 1, while Kayde Schaefer and Bree Larson added doubles, and Shauna Collins and Janelle Cromie added triples in the win. Cromie also drove in three runs.
Taylor Schmidt moved to 7-2 on the season after giving up just three hits in the nightcap. Collins finished with three hits, while Ashleigh Larson, Jess Plummer and Schaefer recorded a double each.
