Owl Trio Earn NAIA Scholar Award for Oregon Tech

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Oregon Tech student-athletes in the winter sports of women’s basketball and men’s basketball have earned the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Award for their performances on the field of play and in the classroom, the NAIA office announced today.  

To earn recognition as a NAIA Scholar Athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and a junior in class standing.

2012 honorees include Aundrea Albright (Sr., Central Point, Ore.) and Colleen Hunt (Jr., Silver Lake, Ore.) from the women’s basketball team, along with men’s basketball player David Clarke (Jr., Auckland, NZ).
