Four Student-Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar Award for Owls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four Oregon Tech student-athletes in the winter sports of women’s basketball and men’s basketball have earned the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Award for their performances on the field of play and in the classroom, the NAIA office announced today.  

To earn recognition as a NAIA Scholar Athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and a junior in class standing.

2011 honorees include Aundrea Albright (Jr., Central Point, Ore.) and Jana Parker (Jr., Medford, Ore.) from the women’s basketball team, who joined men’s basketball players Brent Johnson (Sr. Medford, Ore.) and David Clarke (So., Auckland, NZ).
