Oregon Tech Home Opener Rescheduled
03.15.2012
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Oregon Tech baseball team's home opening doubleheader versus Menlo College, set for this weekend, has been rescheduled to be played at Laney College in Oakland, Calif. due to the chance of rain and snow in Klamath Falls, along with poor field conditions currently at Kiger Stadium.
Oregon Tech (8-12) will take a 2-2 NAIA West mark into this week’s play after splitting a conference road series against Patten University in Oakland last weekend. The Owls open the series at 12 p.m. on Friday with Saturday’s doubleheader set for an 11 a.m. start. Menlo, the visiting team in the series, is 7-17 overall and 4-8 in conference action.
The Owls will now open at home in a non-conference doubleheader versus La Sierra University on Sunday, March 25th, beginning at 1 p.m. at Kiger Stadium.
