Fiegi Adds Another Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 25, 2008)—Oregon Tech senior point guard Ryan Fiegi added another award to his long list of accolades.  This week the NAIA recognized Fiegi as a NAIA II Academic All-American announced Tuesday, March 25th.

This years Cascade Conference Player of the Year led the Hustlin’ Owls to their second NAIA II National Championship earlier this month, where Fiegi was also awarded the NAIA II National Player of the Year.  Fiegi averaged 20.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists for the 2008 National Champion Hustlin' Owls this season.

The recipients must be junior or above in academic standing; been in attendance at nominating institution for one full year; has a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.5; and is certified as eligible.  This is Fiegi’s second straight NAIA scholar award.
