Tech Sign Former North Medford Standout

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Oregon Tech head women’s basketball coach Scott Meredith announced today the signing of Jana Parker, a 5-9 guard and former North Medford High School standout who is currently a sophomore at Oregon Tech.

Parker was referred to Coach Scott Meredith by his daughter Hayley, who played intramural basketball with Parker last year. “It’s a unique situation and a great story to find a student on campus that has the skills to compete at this level. Hayley knows what I value in basketball and was right on with her recommendation. Jana is incredibly strong, a great rebounder and has the potential to be a lockdown defender at the guard position. We are very excited to have her join our program.”
