Oregon Tech To Seek New Soccer Coach
04.12.2012
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech Athletics Director, Michael Schell, announced last week that Bryan Mueller has been relieved of his duties as head men’s and women’s soccer coach at the University.
Mueller finished 65-59-6 overall in seven seasons with the Tech women, with a 5-9-1 mark this past year, including 3-6-0 in Cascade Conference play in 2011. After Oregon Tech added the men’s soccer program in 2008, Mueller guided those teams to a 22-43-6 record in four seasons, finishing the 2011 campaign at 5-11-1 overall and 3-9-1 in conference play.
"After a thorough evaluation of our soccer programs, I have concluded that new leadership is necessary to move both programs forward,” said Schell. “The search for a successor will begin immediately. I would like to have both positions filled by June.”
Schell has named assistant coach Mike Hedlund as interim head coach for both programs.
