Oregon Tech Sets 14 PR’s at Lane Twilight

Eugene, Ore. – Gearing up for the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships in two weeks, Oregon Tech track & field athletes set 14 personal records, led by individual titles from Rey Chavolla and Kassi Conditt, on Friday night at the Lane Twilight in Eugene.
In the 200 meter race, an event in which Chavolla won at the 2010 CCC championships, Chavolla crossed the finish line in 22.73 seconds. In the 100 meter race Chavolla tied for 3rd in 11.47 seconds.
Conditt, qualifying for the NAIA national meet just last weekend, won her third individual title in the shot put with a mark of 40.85 feet.
As a team, the Oregon Tech women placed 4th with 57.5 points out of a 10 team field. The Oregon Tech men, meanwhile, tallied 43.5 points, finishing 4th out of nine teams competing at the event.
