Owls Move up to No. 18 in Final Coaches Poll

Klamath Falls, Ore. –The Oregon Tech softball team moved up one spot to the No. 18 slot in the eighth and final edition of the 2011 NAIA Division II Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll announced Tuesday.

Oregon Tech will now wait for the official 32-team National Championship qualifiers to be announced later today by 3 p.m. CDT. The National Championship pool play assignments and schedule will be announced Wednesday by 3 p.m. The 31st annual Softball National Championship will be played out at Gulf Shores, Ala., from May 19-25.

Cascade Conference member Corban University received votes in this week’s poll.

Oregon Tech has now been ranked in the Top 25 in the last six straight rankings.
