Oregon Tech Powers Up with Watts

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- - Oregon Tech head women’s basketball coach Scott Meredith announced today the signing of Crissy Watts, a 5-6 guard from College of the Siskiyous and formerly of Sunset High School in Beaverton, Oregon.
Watts, a 1st team All-State selection at Siskiyous averaged 19.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 45% from the floor and 84% from the free-throw line. She broke the COS school record for points in a game with 47 and set new school records for consecutive free throws made (22), free throw percentage (84.6) and free throw percentage in conference (94.4).
Watts averaged 24.6 points per game during 2009 Golden Valley Conference action.
“Crissy Watts is a dynamic basketball player as her 1st team All-State status in California shows,” said Coach Meredith. “She is a prolific scorer and can generate points in a variety of ways. Her ability to create will give us options and make everyone around her better. We are extremely excited she is bringing her game to Tech"
Crissy is the daughter of Mark and Nancy Watts of Beaverton, Oregon. She plans to major in Communications at Oregon Tech this fall.
