Lady Owls Sign Linn-Benton Post

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Oregon Tech Head Women’s Basketball Coach Scott Meredith announced today the signing of Heidi Halemeier, a 6-1 Post from Linn-Benton CC in Albany, Ore.

Halemeier averaged a double-double with 13.5 points and 10 rebounds per game while also averaging 2 blocks and 1.5 steals per game last season for LBCC.

“We are fortunate that Heidi has decided to continue her education at Oregon Tech.” said Coach Meredith. “We had her rated as the top post player in the NWAACC and she will now team up with Kassi Conditt to give us tremendous presence inside. Heidi has great touch and can score in a variety of ways. In addition, she is a great rebounder and defender. She brings experience, maturity and a history of success with her to the Lady Hustlin’ Owls. .

Halemeier is the daughter of Dave and Carolyn Halemeier of Mill City, Ore. She will be a Communications major at Oregon Tech.
