Owls ink South Medford forward

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech Head Women’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today that Rebekah Nisbet of Medford, Oregon has signed a letter of intent to join the Owls soccer team in 2010.

Nisbet competed at South Medford High School and was a Southwest Conference first team selection in 2009. Nisbet was awarded the Best Offensive Player award and was a Team Captain for the Panthers this past season, while helping SMHS to a 4^th place finish in the 2010 Rogue Valley Cup.

“Rebekah is one of the top soccer players in Southern Oregon and will be an excellent addition to our program, “said coach Mueller. “Rebekah is an attack-minded player with the ability to hold the ball in midfield and create and score goals.”

Nisbet is the daughter of Lou and Linda Nisbet of Medford, Oregon and will major in Health Sciences at Oregon Tech this fall.
