KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech head softball coach, Greg Stewart, announced that former Henley High All-State outfielder, Elise Goodell, has signed a letter of intent and will compete at Oregon Tech for the upcoming 2011 season.

Goodell was a member of the Hornets of Henley High School, before playing a year at Chaminade University in Hawaii.  Goodell competed in 39 contests during the 2010 season for the Swordfish.

Goodell was a three-time Skyline Conference first-team outfielder at Henley, while also receiving 4A All-State accolades both her junior and senior seasons.  Goodell competed four years for Henley, leading the Hornets to back-to-back appearances at the Oregon State 4A championship games in both 2008 and 2009.

Elise is the daughter of Jon and Damian Goodell and plans to major in biology at Oregon Tech beginning this fall.
