Tech Volleyball signs All-State player

KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon —Oregon Tech head volleyball coach Jason Corwin announced today that Erin Nowak of Cottage Grove, Oregon has signed a letter of intent to join the Owls this coming season.
Nowak, a 5-5 defensive specialist, competed four season at Cottage Grove High School where she earned the team Best Defensive Player award on two occasions. In leading the Lions to a co-conference championship (Sky-em) and a third place finish at the 4A State Championship in 2009, Nowak earned a first-team all-conference award to go with Second-Team All-State honors.
"We are excited Erin will be competing at Oregon Tech for the next four seasons,” said Coach Corwin “Erin is talented and a very positive teammate that will give us another quality player on our roster this coming season”.
Erin is the daughter of Steve and Gayle Nowak and plans to major in medical imaging technology at Oregon Tech beginning this fall.
