ROCKLIN, Calif. - The Oregon Tech volleyball team moved to 2-0 on the season after a sweep over non-conference opponent William Jessup University today winning 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.
Kristen Walters led the Tech offense after finishing with a match-high nine kills, including a .750 hitting clip. Joey Parnell followed with eight kills to go with four digs and three aces, while Mindy Nalder added four kills in the win. Setter Sarah Svedin tallied six digs and a team-high 13 assists, while libero Krystie Vea also added six digs for the Owls.
Oregon Tech will continue their four match non-conference swing through California tomorrow with two matches in Angwin versus Pacific Union College and sixth-ranked Azusa Pacific University.
OIT will finish up with Menlo College on Saturday before opening at home versus Simpson University on Monday, August 29th beginning at 3 p.m.
