Oregon Tech falls to Saints 2-0 in season opener

Helena, Mont. – The Oregon Tech women’s soccer team outshot their opponent 12-9 in the 2010 season opener but was unable to connect for a score, as the visiting Owls dropped a 2-0 decision to Carroll College today in Helena.

The Owls, down 1-0 at the intermission, had a couple of opportunities to tie the game in the second stanza, but were unable to finish near their own goal. Carroll, however, pushed the score to 2-0 with a goal in the 75^th minute to put the game out of reach.

Oregon Tech will look to post their first win of the 2010 season when they travel to Great Falls, Mont. to play University of Great Falls on Thursday - the game is set to begin at 4:00 PM.
