Owls sign Roseburg infielder

Shauna Collins (Roseburg, Ore.) becomes the sixth recuruit to join the Owls softball team in the fall.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Head softball coach Greg Stewart announced recently that Shauna Collins of Roseburg, Ore. will join the softball team beginning this fall.

Collins, a shortstop/second baseman for Roseburg High School, earned Southwest Conference first-team all-league accolades to go with a third-team All-State award in 2010. The Indian infielder batted .403 overall, stole 21 bases, and was name team MVP at RHS. Collins was also a member of the Oregon Gold Panthers ASA team.

Collins is the sixth and final player signed to the 2011 Oregon Tech recruiting class.
