Owls Ink North Medford Forward

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head men’s basketball coach Dan Miles announced today that Kyle Waits from Medford, Ore. has signed a Letter-of-Intent and will join the Owls this fall.

The 6-7 forward averaged 13 points and grabbed 7.1 rebounds during his senior season at North Medford High School, earning second-team all-conference honors for the Tornado in 2010.

“Kyle continues our pipeline of fine recruits from Medford,” said Miles. “He will be a solid contributor to our program and has a very bright future.”

Kyle is the son of Robert and Karol Waits and will major in psychology beginning this fall.
