Women's Soccer Slips Past Simpson 1-0

REDDING, Cali. -- The Oregon Tech Lady Owls improved to 2-2 on the season with a 1-0 road win over Simpson University.

Oregon Tech score the lone goal of the day when Crystal Foster took a pass from Brooke Cole at the 24:52 mark and scored past a diving Redhawks goalie.

Oregon Tech double Simpson 22-11 for shots in the game and also held a shots on goal advantage 8-3.

Tech Goalie Andrea Perez went the distance to earn the shut-out win with 3 saves.

Morghan Pomery had a steller game for Simpson between the pipes allowing just the one goal with 7 credited saves.

Oregon Tech will return home to play its first home game of the season next Friday, September 10th as they host Simpson at 7:00 pm at Steen Sports Park.
