Boxers Down Owls 3-1

Klamath Falls, Ore. – Three second half goals by Pacific University erased an Oregon Tech 1-0 halftime lead as the Boxers improve to 4-0 on the season. The Hustlin’ Owls fall to 0-3 with the loss and will host George Fox University next Saturday, September 14 at Steen Sports Park.
Oregon Tech’s Nathan Wade put the home team up 1-0 in the 27th minute as he took a Jimmie Hernandez long pass behind the Boxers defense and beat the Keeper for his first collegiate goal.
The Boxers tied the game in the 58th minute on a throw in by Nick Calkins. Calkins threw a high pass into the box that found the head of Ian Farley who finished in the lower right of goal.
Just 13 minutes later Calkins did it again, throwing a high ball in front of the Oregon Tech goal, this time Kellan McNamara finished with the header in the lower left of the goal.
Pacific put the game away just 67 seconds later in the 72 minute as Nick Rudella scored on a great pass from Nicolas Kaminsky giving Pacific the 3-1 win.
For the game, Pacific had a 9-7 advantage in shots with Oregon Tech holding a 5-4 edge in shots on goal.
