Lady Owls Improve to 7-0 with 2-0 Win at Dominican

KENTFIELD, CA - Patti Degerness (Jr. Portland, Ore) scored on a penalty kick 31 minutes into the game; then Katie O'Brien (Sr. Jacksonville, Ore) rocketed a bullet from outside the 18 into the upper left hand of the goal to put the game away in the 77th minute off an assist from Dacarie Robertson (Sr. Medford, Ore). Oregon Tech stays unbeaten at 7-0 with 5 shutouts on the season. Dominican (Calif.) falls to 0-3-1.

Katie Orr (Fr. Central Point, Ore), filling in for Megan Ross (Jr. Medford, Ore) at goalkeeper, issued her second straight shutout with 2 saves for the game.

Oregon Tech outshot the Penguins 12-6 and also had more shots on goal 6-2.

After playing 5 games in 11 days, the Lady Owls will not return to the pitch until they play at William Jessup on September 22nd.
