Tech’s Drost Earns Player of the Week Honors

Portland, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s Meghan Drost has been named Cascade Collegiate Conference Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the Conference office today.

Drost, a 5-5 junior forward from Corvallis, Oregon earned Player of the Week honors after punching in three goals and assisting on the fourth score in Oregon Tech’s 4-0 non-conference victory over Northwest Christian University in a match played on Saturday.

Drost is currently leading the Owls in scoring with 5 goals and 1 assist in three games this season.

Oregon Tech will host a non-conference game versus Simpson University on Wednesday, September, 14^th at 5 p.m. and continue their non-conference schedule with another home match versus San Diego Christian University this Friday beginning at 3 p.m. All Oregon Tech home games are played at the Steen Sports Complex.
