Betts and Foster Earn Player of the Week Honors

Portland, Ore. – Oregon Tech’s Ashton Betts and Crystal Foster have been named Cascade Collegiate Conference Soccer Offensive Players of the Week as announced by the Conference office today.
Ashton Betts, a 6-0 freshman midfielder from Portland, Oregon has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after scoring three goals and assisting on another helping Oregon Tech to a 7-0 win over Menlo College in its lone game last week. In four games for Oregon Tech this year Betts has 5 goals and 2 assists. Betts is currently ranked 8th in the nation in points per game (3.00)
Crystal Foster, a 5-7 sophomore midfielder from Redmond, Oregon has been named the Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after scoring 6 goals and 1 assist leading Oregon Tech to a 2-0 record this past week. Foster is currently 7th in the nation in points with 19.
The Oregon Tech men open up Conference play this weekend as they travel to perennial powerhouse Concordia University in Portland Oregon this Friday, September, 17th at 6:00 pm.
The Oregon Tech women will next play at Menlo College in Atherton, California on September 21st at 3:30 pm.
