Oregon Tech Hoops Signs Lakeview High Star Jordan Kiely

KLAMATH FALLS,OREGON (September 13, 2007)---Head men’s basketball coach Danny Miles announced today that Lakeview High School senior Jordan Kiely has signed a letter of intent to join the Hustlin’ Owl Basketball team for the 2008-09 season.

Kiely, a 6’1, Senior from Lakeview, Oregon was named to the 1st Team All-SCL team where he averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and two steals per game as a junior for the Honkers last season.

“We are very excited to sign Jordan so early,” said Head Coach Danny Miles. “I have had him in summer basketball camps for several years and I’ve seen him grow into a very good basketball player.  Jordan has outstanding point guard skills and court awareness but most important he is a quality student athlete.”

Kiely is the first player to sign for the Owls for the 2008-09 season and will major in Civil Engineering.  Jordan is the son of John and Teresa Kiely.
