Oregon Tech Falls in Four at Eastern Oregon

La Grande, Ore. – The Oregon Tech volleyball team fell in four sets 3-1 (25-18, 25-15, 25-27, 25-16) to Eastern Oregon University tonight in Cascade Conference action.
Oregon Tech falls to 1-4 in CCC play and 6-4 overall, while Eastern Oregon stays undefeated in conference play, moving to 6-0 in the CCC standings.
Joey Parnell finished the night with a double-double, leading the Owl offense with 13 kills to go with 14 digs in the loss. Mindy Nalder added nine kills, while Kai Evans-Bautista and Jennifer Saltenberger tallied six kills each. Krystie Vea anchored the Tech defense with 16 digs and Sarah Svedin totaled 25 assists and nine digs.
Oregon Tech will visit Simpson University this Tuesday in Redding, Calif. before resuming CCC play at home versus The Evergreen State College and Northwest University this Friday and Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. both nights.
